Suicidal Thoughts and Actions in Children 6 Years of Age and Older.

Suicidal thoughts and actions can happen in children 6 to 12 years of age with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), especially within the first few months of treatment. Tell your healthcare provider right away about any changes, especially sudden changes in mood, behavior, thoughts or feelings, or suicidal thoughts or actions.

Abuse, Misuse, and Addiction

Simtriyo has a chance for abuse and misuse and may lead to substance use problems, including addiction. Misuse and abuse of Simtriyo can lead to overdose and death. This risk is increased with higher doses of Simtriyo or when it is used in ways that are not approved, such as snorting or injection. Your healthcare provider will check you or your child’s risk for abuse, misuse, and addiction before starting treatment with Simtriyo and will frequently monitor you or your child throughout treatment. Keep Simtriyo in a safe place and properly dispose of any unused medicine.
